No surprises, ever
Questions couples ask — answered honestly
Planning a wedding should feel exciting, not confusing. So here are straight, no-asterisk answers to the things couples wonder about most — the money, the logistics, and everything in between. If a question isn't here, just ask.
The money, in plain language
Pricing & payments
Most weddings here run from $5,500 in the off-season to $8,500 in peak season (April through October, Fridays and Saturdays) — your date, guest count, and any overnight lodging set the final number. Your personalized Pricing Guide lays out the full seasonal grid plainly: what's included, what's optional, and what it all totals.
Every package includes exclusive use of your setting for the day, the estate itself as your backdrop, and access to our on-site amenities. The full inventory — tables, chairs, your rental hours, and setup and cleanup time — is spelled out in writing in your Pricing Guide, so you know exactly what's covered before you ever sign.
No. We'd rather lose a booking than surprise a couple. Every line — the venue fee, any optional add-ons, taxes, and any refundable damage deposit — appears in your Pricing Guide and your agreement before you commit. What you sign is what you pay.
Once you've toured and fallen in love, you'll sign your agreement and place a retainer to lock in your date. The balance is then spread across a friendly, predictable payment schedule leading up to your day — never one intimidating lump sum at the end. We walk you through every step.
We ask each couple to carry a simple one-day event-liability policy. It's inexpensive, takes minutes to add online, and protects both your celebration and the estate. We'll point you to a trusted, affordable option so it's one less thing to figure out.
Timing is everything
Dates & booking
We don't place informal holds — it wouldn't be fair to the next couple asking about the same Saturday. Your date is reserved the moment your signed agreement and retainer are in, on a first-come basis. If you've fallen for a date, the kindest advice we can give is simple: don't wait on it.
As early as you can. Our favorite dates — especially peak-season Saturdays — are often claimed a year or more ahead. Request your Pricing Guide today and we'll help you find, and lock in, the right date for your celebration.
Absolutely — and we hope you will. There's no substitute for standing among the gardens or looking out from the hilltop at golden hour. Request your Pricing Guide and you'll be able to schedule a private tour at a time that suits you.
You'll receive your personalized Pricing Guide right away, plus a note from a real person on our team — not an auto-reply that vanishes. From there we answer your questions, help you compare the two settings, and set up your tour. No pressure, ever.
Your day, your way
Your celebration
The Estate sets your day among manicured gardens with the French Country estate house as your backdrop — classic, lush, and timeless. The Hilltop trades the gardens for sweeping panoramic views of the Southern Indiana countryside — open sky and endless golden light. Many couples tour both before choosing; your Pricing Guide covers each.
From an intimate gathering to a grand celebration of up to 400 guests, both the Estate and the Hilltop scale gracefully to your day.
Yes — your celebration lives here from "I do" to the last dance. Ceremony, cocktails, dinner, and dancing all unfold across one 110-acre estate, with no shuttling guests between venues.
More than a ceremony site — this is a getaway. The estate offers a pool with a hot tub and cabanas, an 18-hole disc golf course, walking trails, and firepits made for s'mores under the stars. Your guests won't want to leave (and, happily, they don't have to).
Every outdoor celebration here has a beautiful indoor-or-covered backup, and we finalize your rain plan together well before the day. A passing Indiana shower becomes a story you tell later — never a crisis in the moment.
The feast & the toasts
Food & bar
You're welcome to bring the flavors you love. We'll share our list of trusted, licensed caterers who already know the property well, along with the simple guidelines that keep service seamless on the day.
We're delighted to toast with you. Our straightforward bar guidelines ensure alcohol is served by licensed, insured professionals, so the celebration stays safe and carefree from the first pour to the last dance. Full details live in your Pricing Guide.
Our unfair advantage
Stay the whole weekend — right where you celebrate
Most venues hand your guests a hotel address twenty minutes away and send everyone home by ten. Blueberry Hill isn't most venues. Our on-site lodging turns one perfect day into an unhurried weekend — a welcome dinner under the stars, a morning-after brunch by the pool, and the people you love just steps from the celebration.
